To the focused ultrasound community:
As we get deeper into the planning for our first ever virtual symposium in November, we are becoming more excited and enthusiastic that this will be a very positive experience for all and a successful meeting.
As stated previously, the symposium has two purposes: the first is to share information and knowledge, and the second is to interact face-to-face with other members of the focused ultrasound community to network and create new (and strengthen existing) relationships essential to forming collaborations and partnerships.
We are convinced that going online for this meeting will substantially enhance the sharing of information and knowledge, as well as markedly increase the number of people who can participate. Furthermore, it will result in a substantial cost savings for all involved.
As Giuseppe di Lampedusa famously said in his novel The Leopard, "everything needs to change, so everything can stay the same.”
We look forward to “seeing” you in November.
